Braun Series 7- 790cc Pulsonic Shaver Review
My Series 5 shaver broke after I dropped it a few too many times on the tile floor so I replaced it with the Series 7 shaver. The series 7 shaver is a tiny bit better at shaving my thick growth then the series 5 only b/c it takes a few minutes less time for me to shave. That leads me to the minor complaints about the Series 7…Braun took the shave timer off of this shaver, for some odd reason I really liked the timer. The new shaver has a slight flimsy feel to it compared to the old one. I also don’t like the trimmer on the 7 compared to the trimmer on the 5. Braun did put an angled plug on the 7 and that’s nice b/c it fits closer to the wall on my counter now…if they would fix the size/shape of the electric plug then it would be almost perfect (both the 5 and 7 have the same plug and it’s really long, so it sticks out from the outlet really far…very ugly and in the way). Overall, this is still my favorite electric shaver and I’ve tried many over the years. I wouldn’t upgrade from a working Series 5 to the Series 7 b/c the performance is very similar.
